File limits

Are there any limits to the input files? I have created several QR maps, but the latest one failed with an "out of memory" error. It was using a larger image file (6874 x 9922 pixels) so I reduced it to half that and still got the error. Or are there other possible causes for this error?

QuickRoute itself has no such limits, and the operating system is responsible for dealing with memory issues. 6874 x 9922 pixels sounds large, normally there is no need for maps larger than 3000 x 3000 pixels.
